SKE48 Matsumoto Rina Announces Graduation

On February 21st, Team KII member Matsumoto Rina annouced her graduation from SKE48. She will leave in April to concentrate on her studies. An exact graduation date has yet to be announced but it was already confirmed that she will participate in the AKB48 Group spring concerts in Saitama Super Arena (April 4~6).

Matsurina joined SKE48 in 2009 as part of the 2nd Generation and became an original Team KII member the same year. She was a senbatsu member twice: for [Kataomoi Finally] and [Aishiteraburu] and ranked 41st in last year's election.

Oshima Team K [Saishuu Bell ga Naru] Shonichi

On February 20, Oshima Team K performed a new waiting stage, a revival of Team K's 4th stage [Saishuu Bell ga Naru]. This stage was originally performed by old Team K from May 2008 until April 2009.

Changing their stage show was a surprising move by Team K given that in a few days, on the 24th, the AKB48 Group Dai Sokaku Matsuri, a shuffle event, will be held.

The setlist was basically the same as the original one but [Ookami to Pride] performed by Team K's draft members Gotou Moe and Shimoguchi Hinana was added. You can find the setlist for the shonichi performance below.

Sailor Zombie ~AKB48 Arcade Edition~ Previewed in Video

Idol group AKB48 appear as zombies

Enterbrain's Famitsu began streaming an introduction movie on Friday for the upcoming arcade game Sailor Zombie ~AKB48 Arcade Edition~, which stars idol group AKB48 as zombies. The arcade game will arrive in Japanese arcades in April.

Sailor Zombie ~AKB48 Arcade Edition~ features members of idol group AKB48 as zombies. Players are able to play alongside one out of seven members (Yuko Oshima, Mayu Watanabe, Yuki Kashiwagi, Rina Kawaei, Anna Iriyama, Mako Kojima, Miki Nishino) of the group as they work together to shoot the zombies with an antidote and turn them back into humans. Along with fighting large monsters and curing members of AKB48 from the zombie infestation, there are also in-game rhythm games that must be completed at random points throughout the story. "Gingham Check" and "Flying Get" are among the four songs available.

The 3-D zombie faces were created using a scanner to obtain the facial structures of the real AKB48 members, off which each zombie was based.
A playable version of Sailor Zombie ~AKB48 Arcade Edition~ will be showcased at Japan Amusement Expo 2014 this Friday and Saturday.

Flying Get is a single of 5 JKT48.

JKT48′s 5th single Flying Get will be released soon.
The list of the Senbatsu members has been unveiled.
The announcement was made on February 16 at WakuWaku Japan Music Festival held at Jakarta Convention Center.
Flying Get is the tie-up song for the TV CM for WakuWaku Japan in which the members of JKT48 are making an appearance.

This single is a cover of AKB48′s hit song Flying Get (フライングゲット) performed in Indonesian.
The Senbatsu members are :

This is the first time that Ghaida Farisya, Sendy Ariani, Viviyona Apriani and Alicia Chanzia are part of the Senbatsu.

X21 – Asu e no Sotsugyou

X21′s new single Asu e no Sotsugyou (明日への卒業) will be released on March 19.

This is the debut single from X21.

The concept is “white”. This color symbolizes the “purity” of the members of the idol unit.

The MV has been released. It includes a short introduction of each X21 senbatsu member.

The list of the 12 senbatsu members has been unveiled : Yohimoto Miyu, Ozawa Nanaka, Suenaga Mai, Izumikawa Miho, Nagao Mami, Tanaka Shuri, Komoriya Sakura, Igashira Manami, Wakayama Ayano, Shiratori Hasumi, Yamaki Koharu, Kaminaguchi Honoka.

The CD contains 2 songs and their instrumental versions. The title of the coupling track will hasn’t been announced yet.

The limited edition comes with a A5-size photobook.

Maeda Atsuko – Seventh Code

Maeda Atsuko’s new solo single Seventh Code (セブンスコード) will be released on March 5.

The theme is Russia. The CD artwork is inspired by the Russian avant-garde of the 1910s.

Seventh Code is the theme song for the movie of the same name starring former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko.

The video clip was directed by Kurosawa Kiyoshi who was the director of the movie too. He said that he was impressed by the talent of Maeda Atsuko as an actress. The filming was done in Vladivostok, Russia.

4 editions of the single are available. Each CD contains 3 songs and their instrumental versions. The coupling song is different for each one of them.

The Type A and the Theater editions include a DVD with the MV, the making-of and bonus footage.

1/100 Scale Prototype Gundam Plastic Model to be Released 31 Years after Creation

Bandai’s official online store, Premium Bandai, will be releasing a 1/100
scale plastic model kit of the RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam.

The RX-78-1 was the first Prototype Gundam figure to be released, part of the
MSV (“Mobile Suit Variation”) series of official designs based on the
original mobile suits. A 1/144 scale model was released in 1983 at the height
of the Gundam plastic model trend, and a 1/100 scale version is being released
31 years later as part of the “Master Grade” kit series. The model kit
faithfully reproduces the parts and colors in detail characteristic of the
Master Grade series, resulting in a finished product that reproduces the
dynamic action of Gundam.

The kit retails for 4,536 yen, including tax. It will be released in April.

Kick Off “Miku Day” on March 9th with Hatsune Miku Plastic Model

ptimo Series No. 1: Hatsune Miku

In honor of “Miku Day” on March 9th, famous Shizuoka plastic model company Fujimi will be releasing a plastic model kit of Hatsune Miku.
The model kit, which will be released on March 9th, consists of multicolored plastic parts, and comes with one pre-painted face part and two unfinished face parts. The kit includes facial expression stickers that can be used on the unfinished face parts to customize the model, as well as decals for Miku’s clothing. The figure is jointed in numerous places to allow for posing in any position.
The plastic model retails for 3,675 yen, tax included.
