Ono Erena‘s new DVD Hatachi wo Nozokimi (ハタチヲノゾキミ) will be released on June 20.

As she is 20 years old now, former AKB48 member Ono Erena shows an adult and sexy image on this DVD.

AKB48 Theater reopened

One week after the AKB48 handshake incident, AKB48 Theater reopened on June 2.

Several changes were made to the security system to protect the members of the idol group.

• Installation of metal detectors at the entrance
• Number of security staff increased
• A fence was established at the 1st rank between the stage and the audience
• It is not possible to watch the show on the monitor in the lobby without ticket

Moreover, high fives between AKB48 members and fans at the end of the live performance are suspended for an indefinite period of time.

Maeda Atsuko – Moratorium Tamako

The movie Moratorium Tamako (もらとりあむタマ子, Tamako in Moratorium) starring Maeda Atsuko will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 25.

Former AKB48 member Atsuko Maeda plays the role of Tamako, a girl who has just graduated from a university in Tokyo and who is back to her hometown of Kofu. Without a job, she spends her time eating, sleeping, reading manga, and playing video games instead of helping her father living alone with her…

The film was directed by Yamashita Nobuhiro.

Moratorium Tamako was premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2013.

The movie was released in theaters in Japan on November 23, 2013.

The DVD and the Blu-ray include making-of footage, comments by Maeda Atsuko.

SKE48 – 15th Single

SKE48‘s 15th single will be released on July 30.

The title hasn’t been determined yet.

It hasn’t been confirmed, but according to some rumours, the Senbatsu members may be Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Miyazawa Sae, Watanabe Miyuki, Suda Akari, Takayanagi Akane, Furukawa Airi, Yamada Nana, Furuhata Nao, Kimoto Kanon, Oba Mina, Kitagawa Ryoha, Sato Sumire, Yamauchi Suzuran, Tani Marika, Tanaka Natsumi.

The tracklist and further details on SKE48′s 15th single will be announced later.

Nakata Chisato suspended activities

AKB48 member Nakata Chisato has temporarily suspended activities in order to follow a medical

treatment.

Nakata Chisato has been diagnosed with pleurisy.

Therefore, she will miss Oshima Yuko’s graduation and the 6th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election 2014 (AKB48 選抜総選挙 2014)

An event held by her agency Mousa has also been postponed.

Nakata Chisato is a member of AKB48 Team A. She joined the idol group in 2007.
